“Soulbake” is Michael Baker: a solo guitarist based in Vancouver, Washington. Live performances are created from a versatile repertoire of Classical, Latin Jazz, Spanish, Original and Contemporary arrangements. Soulbake is also a Singer/ Songwriter and dynamic Blues/ Rock/ Soul guitarist. His solo Singer/ Guitarist act includes a variety of songs from the early 1900’s to the ’20’s, ’30’s ’40’s, ’50’s, ’60’s, ’70’s, ’80’s… and up to the present. Styles include Americana, Blues, Classic Rock, Country, Jazz, Popular, Oldies, R & B, Standards, etc. He also provides Music Therapy sessions for Mentally and/ or Physically challenged Human Beings. Private guitar instruction is also available by appointment for most styles of music, and includes Classical technique, Theory, Ear training and Improvisation.
